The Beast is the media name for the domestic terrorist Different known for the November 2008 killing of police officers on duty in the 12th Precinct Headquarters of the [[Chicago Metro Area]] Police Department.
There were scattered but unconfirmed reports of The Beast actively targeting and killing citizens in the [[Chicago Metro Area]] dating back to early 2007. By October of 2008, The Beast was actively targeting Police officers on patrol, killing at least fifteen officers, although that number may be as high as twenty-six.  The killings culminated on November 23rd, 2008, in what the media dubbed “The Beast’s Feast.” The Beast walked into the Precinct 12 headquarters and slaughtered all 37 officers in the building. Nine of the dead officers had parts of their corpse consumed.
