Differents are humans who possess unusual and extraordinary abilities. These people can move mountains, read minds, or run as fast as a train. No one knows where Differents came from, but there are Theories.
Then, thirty years ago, one Different named Cabot changed everything. His Plagues devastated the globe. Crops failed, cities crumbled, disease spread. The United States found a way to cope with the destruction; using Differents, the nation began to heal.
The population was moved to the Metro Areas. There, with the help of Ultracorps, the people could be fed, housed, and protected. Manna filled the peoples’ bellies. B-Crete and Maceo Steel put roofs over the peoples’ heads. Think.Net let the people talk to loved ones long separated.
