== Biography ==
Ben was born in the New York Metro Area. By the time he was one year old, Ben's mental abilities were obvious. He had already been walking for 6 months, could speak in complete sentences, and was able to perform arithmetic. 


Ben's father worked as an executive at [[Ultracorps]]. When his son was 4, Ben's father told other [[Ultracorps]] executives about his son.  [[Ultracorps]] worked with Section 26 to help train Ben in the use of his abilities. He would interact with the Librarians, other Cognitively Enhanced Differents who helped run think.Net and stored information that could be accessed on the network.


By age 8, Ben was working part-time as a Librarian He assisted during peak use hours by handling lower priority information and computation requests. By age 14, Ben could store more information than any other Librarian and recall that information more quickly. He became the [[Head Librarian]], this meant all information flowed through Ben. He then delegated tasks to the other Librarians.


Ben continued in that position until 2010 when [[Nita Martinez ]]took over the position of [[Head Librarian]]. Six months after being demoted, Ben disappeared from the Librarian facility. Since that time his whereabouts remain unknown.


== Differentiation ==
Ben is a high level Cognitively Enhanced Different, specially a [[Big Brain]]. Ben is able to store and recall any thought, feeling, or sense his body experiences. This allows him to store and recall vast amounts of information. Ben is able to think at speeds thousands of times faster than a normal person. Combining these two abilities gives Ben access to and understanding of millions of books, news article, or scholarly journal article.


The access to and understanding of all of this information, allows Ben to be an expert in virtually any field. Ben is a master engineer, chemist, doctor, mathematician, and navigator. Ben's expertise in combat, weaponry, and martial arts make him a potential danger.


Ben is [[Metabolic]], he requires about 5,000 calories a day to operate. Most of that energy is consumed by his larger and more complex brain and nervous system.
