Biography
As an infant, Sarah was found on the streets of the Los Angeles Metro Area by Metro Area Police. She was put into the foster care system. The Raines adopted Sarah when she was six months old. The Raines had amassed a fortune prior to The Plagues and used what remained to support over 55 adopted children. Sarah attended private schools until the age of 11, when her GIS result came back positive. Sarah was remanded to the custody of Section 26.
At age 18, Sarah received clearance to leave Section 26. She was given a bid for service from Ultracorps, in the Slug Line development division. Sarah still works there, being employed primarily as a human crash-test dummy. She rides in newly designed train cars, which are then purposefully crashed. Sarah's injuries are analyzed to determine how design could be improved. She is also on call as an organ donor. She provides over 10 transplants a week of various organs.
Differentiation
Sarah is a Physically Enhanced Different, more specifically a Regenerator. This means her body heals itself at an accelerated rate. Her body will also repair itself from injuries that a normal body would not, such as regenerating a removed organ. Sarah's body heals from cuts and broken bones in a matter of minutes. She can re-grow organs or limbs in a matter of hours. Sarah is Metabolic. Her body requires a minimum of 5,000 calories a day if she remains free from injury. If her body requires extreme healing, Sarah can consume upwards of 500,000 calories a day.
