Biography
Lydia Romano was a member of the Bruno Crime family. She worked with her brother Robert Romano as hit-men. Lydia and Robert were specialists called in by the Bruno family in order to use their abilities against well protected targets. Lydia and Robert were implicated in the killings of at least fifteen individuals from 1990- 1996 in all eight Metro Areas. Authorities had them listed in suspects in dozens of other murders. Lydia and Robert were added to the list of the FBI’s most wanted criminals in 1994.
In 1996, Lydia Romano was involved in The Chicago Incident. She and Robert attempted to kill the vigilante Different Captain Freedom. Lydia is credited with creating the massive fires that devastated the Chicago Metro Area in the wake of the incident. Although her body was never found, Lydia Romano was presumed dead as a result of those events.
Differentiation
Lydia Romano was never evaluated by Section 26; what is known about her is put together from police and eye witness reports. Lydia was an Energy Producer and more specifically a Heater. She is believed to have operated by generating electromagnetic waves which would heat the water molecules located inside the intended target. She was likely very powerful, as the fires that burnt in the wake of The Chicago Incident were extremely hot.
Lydia is presumed to have been Metabolic. It is not known how many calories she required, but other Differents of similar abilities required between 50,000-150,000 calories daily in order to use their abilities fully.
